The pommel and hilt are too shiny with chrome but I can fix that.

The frog is made of a creepy soft goat skin but i can fix that too. Excellent company you have here and i look forward to future purchases???? When I bought this weapon I did not like it at all Every time I place an order I am never regretfull for it. Excellent reproduction. My house is being renovated and once its ready this knife and two books will be placed on my shelf in my WWII historical section along with two books about the Hitler Youth. Now for the humorous part a friend of mine saw it and liked it so much that I ordered it for him as it is an excellent knife to cut mangoes with.

This particular example is no exception. A bit salty, but a nice one nonetheless. The maker mark has faded with use but still present see photos.

The grip plates are free of cracks and chips, showing only dirt within the crevices and use wear around the edges of the plates. Being solid nickel, this knife has a noticeably heavy weight when compared to the later war plated examples. The grip plates are without cracks or chips, and fit like a glove to the hilt. There is some corrosion spotting throughout but nothing abnormal…. The knife and scabbard show average signs of wear from use and time.
